Some big changes are coming to the FotoDC website, thanks to the $20,000 grant recently awarded by the Philip L. Graham Fund, which provides funding for a wide range of organizations within the Washington, D.C. area, including cultural organizations devoted to the visual arts. The grant will be used to upgrade and restructure the current site plus add several interactive modules featuring exhibition and e-commerce capability.
The first section to launch is the new PartnerPage that will allow all FotoDC partners to register their organization on the website and post news, events, and even portfolios. Expect to see this new interactive, fully-searchable component go live in the next few weeks, just in time for FotoWeekDC’s 2011 partners to join and participate.
Once complete, the FotoDC website will feature an exhibition platform, educational resources, a directory, partner listing, and support e-commerce.
